Betty arrives at Ecomoda for an interview as the president’s secretary. Despite her outstanding qualifications, she quickly realizes that another candidate may have the advantage, and that her abilities might not be the only thing being judged.

Armando decides to hire both Betty and Patricia as presidential secretaries. While Patricia receives the visible office and public-relations duties, Betty is placed in a small storage room but trusted with the most important responsibilities, including Armando’s personal schedule, which immediately creates tension with Marcela.
