Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and NovelaSubs(“we”, “us”), who operate NovelaSubs. By creating an account or using the site, you accept them. If you don't, please don't use the service.
Who we are
NovelaSubs. You can reach us at support@novelasubs.com, and we answer every message that comes in.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18, or old enough to enter a contract where you live with a parent or guardian's permission. Please give accurate details when signing up and keep them current.
What we provide
NovelaSubs streams subtitled novelas and films to members. While your membership is active we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to stream the library for private, non-commercial viewing. That licence ends when your membership does.
The library changes. Titles and episodes may be added or removed, and we can't promise any particular title will stay available for any length of time. Streaming quality depends on your device and internet connection.
What you may not do
- Download, record, copy, redistribute, sell, or publicly screen the content.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with access controls or any security or geographic restriction.
- Share your account outside your household, or sell or transfer access to it.
- Scrape or crawl the service, access it by automated means, or reverse engineer any part of it.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these rules. Where a breach is minor and fixable we'll normally warn you first.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for activity on your account unless it results from something we did wrong. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access — changing your password signs out every other session.
Memberships, billing and price changes
- Memberships are billed monthly in advance in US dollars and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Cancel anytime from your account page. Access continues to the end of the period you've already paid for, and you aren't charged again.
- If a payment fails we keep your access open briefly while it's retried and email you so you can update your card. If it still can't be collected, the membership ends.
- We may change prices. Existing members get at least 30 days' notice by email before a new price applies, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Refunds
See our refund policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in it affects the statutory rights you may have where you live.
Availability
We work to keep the service running but can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may occasionally suspend it for maintenance, and we depend on third parties for hosting, payments and video delivery whose outages can affect us.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Subject to that, and so far as the law allows:
- The service is provided as-is, without warranties beyond those the law requires.
- We aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profit, data, or opportunity.
- Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.
If you're a consumer you keep every right the law gives you, and nothing above takes those away.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time — see account deletion. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, or if we stop operating the service. If we close your account without cause, we'll refund the unused part of the period you paid for.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we'll email you at least 30 days beforehand, and continuing to use the service after it takes effect means you accept it. Otherwise the version on this page applies.
Law and disputes
If you're a consumer, the law of the country you live in applies and you can bring proceedings in your local courts. You keep every protection your national consumer law gives you.
Please contact us first — nearly everything is quicker to sort out by email than formally.
